82 books into my 100-in-a-year goal, and a couple of good reads.
I fell off pace last month, and was a little concerned I wouldn’t be able to recover, especially in light of high levels of work commitments and travel for September. But I was able to get back on track and make up a little of last month’s deficit with some excellent reads!
It was a slow month for reading, but a couple of really great business reads!
Life constantly presents us with learning opportunities. Recognizing and making the most of them is the hard part. Finding learning anywhere is an idea I recently put to the test after I was pressed into service on a food truck. Really.
A “glowing” true story, a great fiction read from a new favorite author, and a guidebook for “grittiness”.
PLEASE DON’T SUCK. It doesn’t sound hard, but this most basic of interpersonal skills is proving hard to come by, particularly in light of recent technology and startup leadership snafus.
